Renewable Energy Resource – Solar and Wind

Our world is experiencing energy revolution. Environmental issues are catching up as the increased concern over environment preservation where we need to play our active roles in saving energy.

By saving energy, we can definitely take a positive step in fighting the climate change and in preserving non-renewable sources of energy. Let us look at some devices and measures that can help us conserve energy and replace non renewable sources with renewable sources of energy.

Green products and appliances include energy saving appliances and devices for your office and home, windows/doors utilizing solar energy and household products built out of eco-friendly materials. Fluorescent light bulbs are another light saving devices utilizing minimum amount of electricity per watt.

All these energy saver products positively influence the environment and reduce the energy and electricity costs. They also reduce the emission of pollutants in the long-term. Other products like energy saving remote control made out of plastic are also available for saving energy in your day to day use.

And, here goes the question: “what do we have to do to start using the abundant natural resources given by nature to us?”

The answer would be: “building your own renewable energy sources…”

Benefits of using Renewable Energy Sources:

• Uses minimum or no electricity at all;

• Cost less and work amazingly well;

• Reduce dependency on coal, natural gas or petroleum;

• Help to address concerns over the global warming issues;

• Minimize gasoline usage and reduce on electricity bill;

• Overally could help to reduce the green house gas emission levels, reduced energy usage means that the need to go for building new transmission lines, infrastructure and other related devices can be delayed and prolonged.

Thus, one can defer the environmental concerns and issues, if not have complete removal. All the energy saving programs and devices will reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions made by coal utilizing power plants.

Emissions up to an average of around 2.1 billion pounds per year can be saved for around 20 years So, when we are aware of these conditions, why not head on the way to conserve energy?

And the undenialable truth is, we all love and care about our mother earth.

But whenever, we – the humans, are controlled by selfishness and greediness, in so many occasions, profit achievement would be seen as the sole reason / purpose that driven their destructive actions.

Even though  the consequences would risk the entire natural resources and ruins the invaluable asset of our planet earth.

All the side effects upon industrial revolution, excessive exploitation on oil and gas that derive to mass scale of industrial pollution, uncontrolled waste of animals that lead to excessive production of methane, etc…

But despite, the conservation ideas that have been pushed by developed countries, many developing and under developing countries are still practicing “unprofessional” way of energy saving and conservation.

Whilst, the uncommon truth is some of the called “developed countries”,  in practice are the major contributors to global warming.

The so called “eco-friendly” campaigns are just tag on books or advertisements on the media, as when it meet up with the political and economic issues would always become the second priority?

And finally, the future of earth and our mankind, lay on the hands of yours and mine, if we are not going to start it by today, when will the journey of thousand miles for even greener earth took it first step forward …?
