This has to be the first Haptic Touch Screen Remote !
According to Eric Johnson, VP of technology at URC, they have experimented with haptic touch screen remote for three years. So, whenever you press a virtual button on the new MX-5000 haptic touch screen remote, it seems to click just like the real thing.
The delay of haptic touch screen remote is solely due to reliability issue, which according to Johnson, is a matter of quality and price.
“We look at hundreds of thousands of button presses. If it can’t survive one-million button presses, we’re not really interested.”
